Tasting of belgian beers at Café Abseits, Bamberg

Do you have a link to the newspaper article online? I forgot to buy a copy of the FT yesterday...I sat next to Martin, the writer. He was skeptical. ;) It was unfortunate that the Alvinne "IPA" was infected--I'd never had beer from this new brewery before. The other new brewery for me was Struise, and this was indeed very good, but strong. I will enjoy the Saison Dupont if you get it, but I hope the bottle rests in the Keller for a while before opening it--they were very excited on Sunday. :-0 If you do begin to serve Belgian beers with yeast in the bottle, you will have to educate the customers and staff to leave the yeast in the bottle, and not swirl it in like we do with Hefeweizen.
