Tasting of belgian beers at Café Abseits, Bamberg

Hi Barry, I know that you can buy good, but mainstream beers in Belgium for less then 1 Euro. But - Belgium is to far for me and our guests (500 km) to go into these belgian supermarkets. - I have not enough storage. Bierkompass.de or other online shops are the opportunity to buy cardboard boxes (20 small or 12 great bottles with 0,75 l or more. - We prefer rare beers which you can't get at the belgian supermarkets (?). - We have a (momentary) monopoly at least within 100 km's. - I calculate with the method activity based costing, resulting in a uniform surcharge (around 1,50 Euro per small bottle). - We are a pub and not a shop. The guests know that the price of beer is higher than in a shop. You pay for a German beer (10 litres) between 5 Euro (discount beer, Oettinger and so on) and 18 Euros (Schneider Aventinus) in a supermarket. And: Belgian beers are only the cherry on the cake. If we sell thousends of bottles per year I will lease a heavy good vehicle for buying directly at the breweries ;) Gerhard
