Bug: easy access to Bamberg |

| The way to Bug is walkable. But it long (4,3 kms) and You have to walk up to the hill (Würzburger Str.) and then down to Bug. Late in the night, tired, drunken maybe not a good idea. An alternative route is through the Hain and maybe a little dangerous (forest, darkness). Taxis are practically not available (too big demand). A possibility could be the "Sandkerwa-Express". http://www.sandkerwa.de/sandkerwa-express/ http://www.landkreis-bamberg.de/%C3%96PNV_Bus_und_Bahn/ Private Busses, organised from the Landkreis Bamberg (Bamberg Country) bring You from far outside Bamberg to the Tiefgarage Geyerswörth (the Sandkerwa area) and back to the villages in Bamberg Country. The plan: http://www.landkreis-bamberg.de/media/custom/1633_4370_1.PDF?1310550844 The last busses are 2 a.m. and later from Bamberg to the villages. The price is 6 Euro (from the city/village to Bamberg and back). So You can take a hotel in one of the villages/cities and take the Sandkerwa-Express. But the Sandkerwa-Express drives only on friday, saturday and monday. |
