CAMR*L*, Bayerischer Anstich

I've often wondered how ungespundetes Bier served under b. Anstich differs from real ale. Unfortunately, I haven't personally encountered enough brewers who do b. Anstich often enough to get around to asking about it. Peter Griess often serves his beer in person at the Brewery, but I never manage to remember to ask him about it when I'm there. (I'm usually at the Keller though...see below.) I honestly don't know Bamberg that well, and can only think of Schlenkerla and Mahr's at the moment. A few places that serve bayerischer Anstich outside Bamberg come to mind. Geisfeld: The Griess *Keller* does the Kellerbier with b. Anstich, but the Brauereigaststätte does it under CO2 with a fake barrel. Strullendorf: Although http://www.bierfranken.eu/biergarten-detail.php?id=183 says "Lager vom Fass", I think it's actually the Kellerbier under b. Anstich. Reundorf: I THINK the Schmausen Keller does b. Anstich, but I might be mistaken--anyone know for sure? I haven't been yet this year, come to think of it. http://www.bierfranken.eu/biergarten-detail.php?id=175 Don't know about the Brauereigaststätte, I've never been there. Hirschaid: Brauerei Kraus' Gaststätte does everything under pressure, but the Häschaadä Keller ("Hirschaid" in Hirschaidese) located practically underneath the Autobahn exit has Kraus Lager and sometimes Mahr's on b. Anstich. http://www.bierfranken.eu/biergarten-detail.php?id=170 (n.b. The map location there is *wrong*. It's actually located under the trees opposite the Autobahnmeisterei: http://maps.google.de/maps?f=q&source=s_q&sll=49.822875,11.007298 ) Buttenheim: Löwenbräu *Keller* does the *Kellerbier* by b. Anstich. The Brauerei Gaststätte, OTOH, does the *Lager* (less hoppy) under CO2, AFAIK. The St. Georgen Bräu Keller does CO2 with a fake barrel. Eggolsheim: Schwarzes Kreuz *Bierkeller* serves Schwarzes Kreuz under b. Anstich. I can't recall whether the Brauereigaststätte does though. Schlammersdorf: The Witzgall Keller on the edge of the village serves the most excellent Witzgall Landbier under b. Anstich, but only on Sundays and holidays. At the brewery in the village, however, it's their other, sweeter beer, the Vollbier, under CO2, while the Landbier is available in bottles. I'm off to the Keller today, in fact. Hallerndorf: Lieberth's Dorfkeller does b. Anstich, but I'm not sure about the Brauereigaststätte. The Lieberth Kreuzberg Keller is the only one of the three on the Kreuzberg to serve b. Anstich. Röttenbach: I believe the beer in the Biergarten at Br. Sauer is b. Anstich, but inside it's CO2. There's an old Sauer Bierkeller in town which was just brought back to life a year or two ago, but I can't recall how the beer's served. And there's a Keller in nearby Zeckern which does the Sauer beer by b. Anstich...IIRC. (http://www.bierfranken.eu/biergarten-detail.php?id=2 ) (Yes, all located within cycling distance from where I live.) Where else?
