| Indeed, the guy who wants me to go see it says it's hilarious. I assume in its attempt to be a Bavarian/Bohemian beer hall in Manc. And he's a fan of Franconia himself, and lived in Prague a while, so knows what it should be like. We'll see, I might just "not have time for it." But then also, about this Black Country business. I'm flying out of Brum, meaning a train on Sunday from Manc to BHX. It stops in Wolverhampton, which has a few places with Holdens beer, but nothing with Bathams more than the Best Bitter. Would you happen to know of anyplace worthwhile in Wolverhampton or even Birmingham New Street or Stafford, where one might have a nice Sunday lunch and proper mild & bitter? |
