Cask-conditioned vs KeyKeg

I think there's quite a bit of simple "it's NOT cask" involved in why the kids are brewing the Keykeg beers today. IOW, it's NOT what your parents drank, but what the cool kids over the pond are drinking. And no handling of casks or kegs (returns, washing & sanitising, etc.) must also be a HUGE savings in labour and capital for the brewery, though yes, they're supposedly more expensive and then there's their environmental-friendliness or not.

Is there really a fest in lovely Llandudno, or is it just the multiplicity of pubs there?

I've seen Mancunians abbreviate it thus, but als "Mcr". No offense intended, I can certainly afford the extra characters in future.
