Dumplings

By "dumplings", I think you mean "Kloss" (Kloß). It is funny, when I was at Mahr's Braeu the other day, I ordered Haxe, and the waitress apologized that they still had Haxe but had run out of Kloß. I said that it was OK, I would just have Salzkartoffeln. Some Kloß are good, but some are kind of flavorless.
