We've now arranged our hols in W/bach - I should think that 3 weeks will be enough to get a feel of the place and visit many of the Zoigl houses! But a question on Munich: on our way from Memmingen, we have to transit Munich Hbf. We arrive at platform 29 at 16:07 and leave for Weiden from platform 26 at 17:02. DB suggest this is a 10 minute walk, which is probably a bit cautious. But, do we have enough time to nip out to a beer keller for a quick 'un? I remember as a mere youth doing something similar - we actually made it to the Hofbrauhaus and back in about an hour but I was younger and a lot more nimble then - and so was spouse! Acording to the map, the Augustinerkeller is the nearest keller - about 10 minutes walk? Am I being too ambitious? Is there a decent bar on the Hbf nowadays? My ememory of 45 years back is a bit hazy! Any decent suggestions considered.
