| Has very much the feeling of a locals pub. I hardly noticed the beer as I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place so much. I agree with Nick, it's so easy to get to you might as well. A slightly longer walk but well worth the effort is Schwarzes Kreuz in Eggolsheim. Much quieter when I was there but good beer and great beer mat. To fill a rainy day get a Bayern ticket and include Buttenheim (2 good breweries, I love Loewenbraeu, and the Levi Strauss musem all on the same street) and Forchheim Old Town. |
