Brauereigaststätte Haberstumpf...Hops Scandal

I wonder how that can be justified - seems to me that hop growing isn't too difficult - do they need a lot of non-organic fertiliser to ensure good growth? I wonder how anyone can afford to drink in a pub in the USA - it's bad enough in Ireland. Small wonder that so many people are turning to home brew.
