No More Hobbybrauer Dock Sales at Weyermann!

As the subject says, I've just learnt that as of 2014, Weyermann are no longer selling malt directly to homebrewers from their lovely Logistikzentrum. We now have to order it from their partners in the internet.

I used to really enjoy driving up there and picking up fresh, clean 25 kg sacks of malt myself, even though it was a bit more expensive than buying it online. Now I have to have them delivered to me, meaning they'll get all filthy in the process. Das ist Scheiße! 

In other Hobbybrauen news, I've been using their Sauermalz (2.5% of the grist) to relatively good effect for a while now, in lieu of Reinheitsgebot-unfriendly water treatments. And I've been doing big, one hour "hop stands" at end of boil, with no flavour additions, and very little bittering additions at the start.
