Cycling to Hallerndorf area

Yes, there are bike paths down both sides of the Regnitz. Take a look at Google Maps -- I've found their bicycle directions work fairly well around Bamberg. A heads up: If you ride down the east side (the Hirschaid side) the path goes inland around Strullendorf. There is a way to avoid that but it involves carrying your bike up and down some stairs.
