| Prices in Prague are lower in general comparing to Bamberg. Usual "pint" of Urquell in classicpub costs about 40-45 CZK, which is about 1,50-1,70€. And that is the most expensive lager here. For example Pivovarsky Klub is one of those more expensive pubs, where their standard beer (Brevnovsky klaster 12° lager - in my view one of the best lagers in CZ) cost 38 for a pint, while other beers (usually Ales) costs 38 for 0,3. Unless you are looking for some foreign beers (USA, Sweden, ...) and not tasting very strong beers (like local Imperial stouts from microbreweries), you will probably don't have a chance to pay more than 69 for a pint of microbrewery Ale even in multitap pubs. That is current maximum I think. Usual prices are about 50 - for example this is up to date tap list of Zly Casy incl. pricelist: http://www.zlycasy.eu/index.php?page=2 (all from KEG) There are still nice places where you could get Czech lager with locals for less than 30. |
