Reservations for a Room at Spezial

Hey guys. Dan and I are thinking about staying at Spezial when we head to Bamberg in May. Do you ask for reservations there via email? If so, can you make your request in English or do you need to translate it to German? I couldn't see any other way to request a reservation on their site. Thanks!
