Prague?

We did the reverse last year, Prague to Bamberg. At the time I was researching it (early spring) the bus service wasn't running (or wasn't on bahn.de) and it took pretty much a whole day for the train. Since we had 7 people, we ending up renting a van and driver (with the added bonus of a "lunch" stop in Plzeň) I also would be interesting in hearing from somebody who took the bus.
