Overhopped

Doppelhopfen from Schloßbrauerei Stelzer way up in the NE corner of Franconia is a favourite of ours at home (bottled), as it's properly hopped. A rarity in Franken. They happen to deliver every couple or few months to the Kitzmann Bräu Kontor Getränke shop in Erlangen. I buy a few cases/crates/racks whenever it comes in. What did younger Jürgen make of bitter and pale ale in the UK? Hoppy? Overhopped? (The word probably only "exists" in beer lingo.)
