Couldn't you just open an account in a French bank using your parents address and then use the SEPA process?  This is something we do all the time when we're in Germany: having an account in a bank in one EU country (in our case, Ireland) gives you access to most things through a bank in any other EU country (i.e. withdrawals, lodegements). Don't forget your EHIC!
