No, I am not saying it is a flaw in P.U. -- it is part of the expected flavor profile. As for Franconian beers, many do have some diacetyl but unless it is a hugh amount I wouldn't consider it a flaw, per se. However it can be a indication of problems. One reason I drink the Pils at Fässla is I often find the Lager has more diacetyl than I like. But others find the Lager perfectly enjoyable and that is fine. You drink what you like and you (hopefully) don't drink what you don't like. |
