| Today, that is, at 16:56. The daily show "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal" on the commercial/private channel Kabel Eins is featuring Franken this week. I was away until yesterday, and so did not pay attention to give advance notice. The show spends 5 days in 5 different restaurants in a given area or city. The landlords compete against each other, basically like a commercial version of Come Dine with Me, except it's quite well done and not an execrable pile of crap like CDWM is. Yesterday's episode was at Hopfen und Malz in Coburg, which looked great. Today's will be the finale of the week at Staffelberg-Bräu. I'll be recording it and will be able to provide subtitled clips as need be...legally, of course. I'm not sure if people outside the country can see the videos, and I've been unable to download them from the website...if anyone knows how to download them, please speak up! |
