| My favorite time to visit Schlenkerla is about 11am. It's very quiet and peaceful in there at that time of day and it's a perfect start to a day of hiking and beer drinking. My ideal day is a stop at Schlenkerla at 11am-ish. Walk to train station (or bus) with a possible quick visit to Faessla on the way if there is enough time. Long day spent out in the countryside hiking and visiting breweries and kellers along the way. By the time I return to the city in the early evening Schlenkerla is heaving and I'll just take my nightcap at Stohrenkeller or somewhere else. Go to bed. Get up next day shower, s@&t, shave and repeat. |
