Franken to Allgau journey |

| I have to admit, I don't understand how a 25 minute regional train ride from Ulm to Ehingen could be twice as costly as the Ulm Ibis. I checked the DB site and it just said fare unavailable but I can't imagine it's more than a few euro per person. The fare from Ehingen to Memmingen is only 18 a piece for a 1.5 hour trip. A double bed at the Best Western there looks about 20 euro cheaper than Ulm. I must be missing something in the equation? |
