Understood.  Sorry I thought the Best Western was cheaper than the Ibis in Ulm.  I must have misunderstood one of your posts.  Totally understand the issue with changing trains.  It is a pain in the arse even for a youngster such as myself.  Ehingen does look intriguing though for future reference if nothing else.
