| You could be right about Mahrs -- I know they do fill the traditional wooden kegs (saw them on a brewery tour). I'll take a closer look when I am there next month. The statement came from the observation that I have never seen them *change* the keg at Mahrs. I very well could have missed it, but with the amount of beer being drunk (and comparing that to how often the change the kegs at Uerige in Düsseldorf) one would think that I would have seen them change them *sometime* :) That was what tipped me off at Spezial -- and then we took a tour and saw the serving tanks in the basement. |
