Rauchbier varieties (was: Landbier)

It has changed since a couple of years. The present headbrewer got the order to change the recipe to make it more "commercial": more bekömmlich (I've also seen süffig), somewhat 'thinner' in taste, to make it more drinkable/digestable. The gravity has slightly dropped and also the smoky flavour has been reduced (although it is still quite strong if you are not used to it). Fortunately the Schlenkerla Ur-Bock seems unaffected and is still at it's full strength.
