Writers like Stephan Mack and, in the 80ies, Dietrich Höllhuber and Wolfgang Kaul, use the plain term Vollbier or (better) Fränkisches Vollbier for this type of amber coloured, hoppy lager. The brewers often call it "normales Bier". The term Landbier in my ears indicates a robust brew that can lack elegance. Many Franconian Vollbiers are true Landbiers, but the many more elegant brews deserve another designation.
