Off Topic(Not Franconian): Interbrew buys Spaten/Löwenbräu

I'm not 100% sure, but yes, I think they are independent (still...) They took over Werner-Bräu of Poppenhausen some years ago. Another fairly big one is Heyland in Aschaffenburg. But Aschaffenburg is really the outskirts of Franconia...
