Pfingsten at Spezial Keller

Spezial Keller is supposed to be closed on Mondays, but I just read that they were having a JazzFrühschoppen on Monday the 15th for Pentecost. Is Pfingsten/Pentecost considered a holiday in Germany? That would mean that breweries' offnungzeiten would be different since this is this a feiertag? (See, I'm slowly learning German...8P)
