| I appear to be descended from people who emmigrated to the US from various parts of what are now Germany (Baden Würtemberg, Bavaria--Franconia, even!, Rheinland-Pfalz), Belgium, and the Czech Republic. Details are proving difficult to nail down, however. I think it's neat that you've got this connection. One of my emmigrating ancestors was named "Höhn", although not at all related to the Höhn brewery in Melkendorf near Bamberg, unfortunately. |
