Update: Another reason for the difference in numbers. If a brewery has stopped brewing, I don't delete it from the database, because then I get emails "Why don't you have Brauerei xxx -- its the best beer ever!" Those entries get counted in the Landkreis total, but I don't bother putting them on the map.
