Ah, I love Gerupfter. Mmmm. With pretzel sticks sticking out. I think I had something like Kohlrabigemüse at Der Pelikan last November. Very delicious (by the way, we also use the word Kohlrabi in English for this vegetable). I have never seen the stuffed onion anywhere but at Schlenkerla, and frankly, I did not like it very much there (too dry and under-seasoned). This is a great thread. :-) |
