Regarding the calender you got it right. Gunnar explained the map very fine, and I can't do it better. The road between Aschaffenburg and Hessenthal is neither a dirt road nor has it no name. It is the "B 8" which means "Bundesstrasse 8" and is a main road and plotted in each and every road map which yo can buy at a gas station.
