Drinking a Schlammersdorfer Landbier as I type... |

Handpump casks seem to last longer than gravity fed casks. Could this be due to less Oxygen getting into the cask via handpump? Or perhaps this impression is just due to CO2 regulators often used with handpumps to displace the oxygen in the cask. Frank, my wife and I will likely make our first visit to Witzgall keller this Sunday around 2. Hopefully our visits will overlap, so we can meet and I can buy you a beer for all your great info and work on this website. BTW, is Greiss keller typically open on Mondays? Also, which website gives the most reliable 2-3 day forecast for the region? We are trying to decide weather to make our trip Sat-Sun or Sun-Monday, depending on the forecasts for Sat and Monday. All the sites I find seem to give notably different forecasts. |
