Weyerman's Smoked Malt

It's like someone who's only impression of Kellerbier comes from not-too-fresh bottled St. Georgenbräu judging Kellerbier entries. What if the entrant is brewing a Roppelt or Griess type of Kellerbier? I've been to the brewery before, but I can't remember--do Schl'la actually malt their own grains and kiln it over fire, or just smoke malt they buy down at the corner Mälzerei? Either way, they do smoke their own malt. And speaking of sidenotes--Fred, Santa Claus must not've brought you a new server. The timeouts are getting worse, FWICT.
