Bamberg Joins the VGN! (Nürnberger Mass Transit Region)

Yes and no, you're mixing up two cards. There was a Touristenticket for the buses, valid 48 hrs. Now abolished. And there still is the Bamberg card, valid for up to three days, i.e. the day you buy it plus the following two. It includes several extra's (free city tour, free entry to some 4 or 5 museums, a free newspaper, and several reductions).
