| Just so folks don't get confused, there are two Göllers in the area. I'm sure the beer Nick and Mike had was the one in Zeil am Main. It's a large-ish brewery that does a good range of beers. They also are a contract bottler of swing-top bottles for lots of breweries in the area. It's also rumored they also do some contract brewing as well. There also is a Göller in Drosendorf, between Memmelsdorf and Merkendorf. It's a typical side of the road, small village brewery and Gaststätte. Nick seemed to like it when he was there in 2006 :) And back on topic, the Stegaurach is also available in bottles at the Pelikan and I've seen it pop up on the menu in the occasional restaurant in Bamberg. |
