OT: East Bavaria recommendations

Wind/Neuhaus are certainly well worth visiting IMHO. Excellent beer but, perhaps as important, super, unspoilt and friendly pubs (the beer is cheap as well). The open pubs are not difficult to find - just ask anyone in the street!
