Like mobile phones, UMTS/HSDPA where available (DSL speed), otherwise GSM/GPRS/EDGE (slower, like ISDN). I already used one from t-mobile, but that is generally slower (here in Germany) and regularly loses the connection. Plus Tchibo is (a lot) cheaper.
