Thanks for the notes on Reindler in Jochsberg. It may be a possibility for an upcoming road trip as a good place to stop in the evening for dinner, beer, and an overnight stay. The term "overhopped" does exist, as you've seen, and usually indicates a beer that seems out of balance, with hop bitterness overwhelming the malt flavors. Some American IPAs have veered into this territory. I'm not always a fan, but now I'm interested in seeing how this character would manifest itself in Reindler's beers, since the hopping would probably come primarily from local types of "noble" hops, in contrast to American IPAs heavily hopped with the likes of Cascade, Centennial, Amarillo, and so on.
