The Bierland Oberfranken entry for Brauerei Schleicher suggests that yes, the brewery was able to recover from the fire. The community of "family, neighbors, and friends" pulled together with the brewery to get brewing operations restored. Apropos your thinking on visiting Zeil am Main on the 16th ... why not continue on the same train line and visit the two breweries in Schweinfurt too? Not that there's ever a problem visiting the two breweries in Buttenheim, as that implies an opportunity to stop over in Hirschaid on the way to/from Bamberg, too.
