More Bamberg pubs |

| Here are a few "off the beaten track" watering holes in Bamberg. I checked them out on a visit to Bamberg earlier this year. * Das Bootshaus on Hainstr., by the river. Serves beer from Kundmueller of Weiher. Nice location in a small park by the river. * Cafe Mueller on Austr. A nice glass of Huppendorfer Vollbier on draught. Also a couple of other Bamberg brews on draught, if I recall. * Opposite is a local's wine kneipe that also serves beer from Eichhorn of Doerfleins. I ordered an Eichhorn lagerbier. It came in a glass and was very ordinary. Not a patch on what they serve at the brewery. * I was unable to locate the Stegaurach pub which Fred visited earlier this year. |
