Forthcoming Bamberg visit

Is September a particularly busy holiday time in Bamberg, as I'm having real problems finding a fewo. Trying Bischberg at the moment but that's not looking great either. What nearby villages would be ok transport wise and even have a decent pub to drink in? Might have to go back to Eschawo!
