Not here to complain about British trains but rather a comparison between train and plane prices. A few years ago i flew Easy Jet from Bratislava to one of the outer London airports. It cost £10 and if I had booked earlier I could have gotten the ticket for £5. The train from the airport to King's Cross, about 30 mins, was £10.70. Still amazed I could fly across Europe for less than a 30 min train ride in London.
