The next one at Roppelt's Keller will take place next Tuesday, the 17th, from 11:00, according to Frau Roppelt (one of the various Frau Roppelts, that is) yesterday. If you like piles of fresh meat, Blutwurst, and Leberwurst, this is the place for you. I'll break my "diet" for this...anyone else? I forgot to ask how many swine will meet their fate for this event; last time, she said "a few". And a real Schlachtschüssel is an event, not just the name of a dish in a Gaststätte! Even if it ain't your thing, the crowd can be amusing to observe.
