Forthcoming visit.

Hi fellow bier guzzlers. Myself and Scott Rankin will be in Bamberg from Thursday 19th August and are staying for a week at Franks Wetzel's place. Has anything been decided for meeting up on the 19th or the 20th yet. Got rather lost in the long thread some way below this one. I was planning to go out to Geisfeld on Thursday evening on the 1635 bus from the Banhof/post stop and come back on the 1852 return so would be available to meet up from 1930 onwards if something has been arranged. I had suggested on the Franconia Beer gen yahoo site that the Mahrs stand on Herrenstrasse from 2000 on the Friday might be an idea, but I appreciate it would be a bit crowded, so I'm open to suggestions. My handy is 0044 7939 270027 and will be in Germany from about 1030 on the 19th when we meet up at Nurnberg Flughafen. Further to this I am planning to visit Tiefenellern and Lohndorf on Friday evening, Maroldweisach and Hofheim on Monday (and would appreciate a few additional hangers on as it will assist in the cost of the taxi fare between the two towns as it's a 4 hour trip by public transport and a very dubious connection between bus and train in Ebern). Sunday I was going to play trains between Ebermannstadt and Beringsmuhle on the preserved steam railway with the possibility of trying to get to Pottenstein between trains (10.45 to 15.00), and coming back via Niklbrau in Pretzfeld and Alt in Dietzhof if it can be squeezed in.
