Sandkerwa: Some food recommendations

I have focused only on the Sandkerwa area. Since many years You get some vegetarian food in all restaurants. In and around the Sandkerwa area, I would prefer, if I would be a vegetarian: Pelikan (They have also Thai food without meat or fish). Blaue Glocke Untere Sandstraße 14, 96049 Bamberg They have daily changing dishes, fine salads etc. Some of them vegetarian. Nice atmosphere, small beer garden. Beer: p.e. Fischer from Freudeneck. No website! Vitamin X http://www.vitaminx.de/ three outlets. I would prefer the new outlet: Austraße (not direct within the Sandkerwa area, but only 50 meters from the Obere Brücke). A juice shop with some vegetarian snacks, p.e. Ciabatte with tomato and mozzaralla Dinkelfladen with sheep cheese a warm dish of the day a soup of the day backed potato with curd cheese nice desserts pasta (wednesday) Hofcafé Bamberg, Austraße (without the Sandkerwa area, but only 200 meters from the Obere Brücke: http://www.hofcafe-bamberg.de/hofcafe.html many vegetarian snacks and dishes, also vegan dishes. Beer from the Roppeltskeller Kreuzberg You can find the entrance between some book shops (in the backyard, first tier).
