Sandkerwa: Some food recommendations

Barry, not to presume to be Gerhard of course, but there are at least a couple of options for you for reliably vegetarian dining: Kornblume, Kapellenstraße 22; closed Tuesdays. Not 100% vegetarian, but plenty of veg-friendly choices nonetheless. House beers are from Fässla and Lammsbräu. Restaurant Kürbiskern, Kunigundenruhstraße 1; closed Sundays and Mondays, mainly dinner-only. 100% vegetarian. House beers are from Keesmann. The Ambräusianum brewpub also usually has some vegetarian options on the menu. Even stolidly traditional old Schlenerkla manages a salad platter with fried cheese wedges on the current menu. And of course, there's your FeWo's kitchen and whatever you get from the supermarket, farmers' market, or whole-foods shop.
