Thinking of you, Nick....

As part of the Judenstrasse Fest, one of the Tapas restaurants (Casa Espana) on Judenstrasse was selling bottles of Krug Breitenlesau for €2. This is just for the fest but it turns out they have bottles of Huppendorfer all the time. Also near the Lugbank is a cafe/restaurant whose actual name I don't know but the sign over the door says "Brasserie." They have a nice courtyard but I've never given them any business because the two beer signs they have are "Becks" and "Bitburger." Well, I noticed this trip that there now is a small "Mahrs Bräu" sign and they have both the Lager and E.T.A. Hoffman Dunkles on draft (keg). That is the first I've seen the latter on draft. Also, on the other side of Lugbank -- the little Imbiss next to Hotel Weierich had draft Mönchsamber Lager during Sandkerwa. Now they just have the bottled but it still goes good with a Leberkäse Brotchen.... Now if the weather holds it is Kerwa in both Freudeneck and Kemmern...
