| Yes, that's how I calculated it. I've an even worse problem having to get from the west of Ireland. Ferry + train is very expensive and the bus journey takes an awful long time. The only way that I can beat Ryanair is by adding the cost of checked in baggage and not getting a really good cheapy. We've been on so many Ryanair flights that we've developed a complete technique, with perfectly sized rucksacks and knowing exactly what we can take and still remain under 10 kilos. Even my long-suffering spouse is now in the routine and has realised how long you can last with few clothes! However, we may face a problem next year as, having tasted 3 weeks in the Oberpfalz, we might stretch it to six. Don't think she will manage that with a 10 kg backpack - but she just might! |
