Yep, it's got everything - beautiful scenery, some (growing fewer) nice little pubs, great music (also declining), not too bad weather (never cold but a little damp), friendly people but... lousy beer! I suppose that it's a bit like Eschawo, having a mono beer culture but what a difference. I just do not know what they do to Guinness to make the most indigestible drink possible. I suppose it might just be me, as there are loads of people who seem capable of consuming gallons (Imperial) of the stuff but it's gradually being replaced by so-called lager.
