Wide-mouth Demijohn in the US

What do you think about using an old copper boiler, suitably cleansed of course. There are a lot of these about because people here are replacing them with modern insulated types. As an ambitious thought, I was contemplating constructing a sort of mini-brewery using a couple of them.
